Italian Squares by Jenny Champoux

Jenny usually uses a little extra meat and cheese, so you may want to get a little more than 1/4 lb and be generous!  My hot husband likes to make these.  : )

2 pkg of crescent rolls
3 eggs or egg beaters
1/4 lb genoa salami
1/4 lb provolone cheese
1/4 lb ham (I usually use black forest)
1/4 lb pepper jack cheese,sliced
1 jar of roasted red peppers, drained

Preheat oven to 350.  Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam. Spread 1 pkg of rolls on bottom and pinch seams. Layer meat, cheese, meat, cheese. Add sliced peppers on top, whisk 3 eggs and pour over the peppers.  Top with 2nd pkg. of crescent rolls. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes. Serve barely warm or at room temp.
